edited-History

The Acme Building was built in 1947 by developer, William “Heine” Fluhreer and contractor, Marshall O. Bessonette. The first floor was occupied by Pittsburgh Plate Glass & Paint. The second floor was a storage area, but in 1954, it became home to the Rogue Boxing Association, which promoted amateur boxing. Over the years, the building has hosted many businesses, including the Medford Beauty School and most recently, the Medford Antique mall, which occupied the first floor and basement.

Now fully-remodeled, the Acme Building houses upscale furnished condominium apartments and corporate housing for short and long-term rental and vacation rental. The Acme Suites have a trendy, loft feel with restored original maple floors, exposed barrel trusses in all units, and avant-garde interior design. Each unit has a unique character with professionally designed and decorated interiors unlike anything else in the area. The scale of design is that of an urban city such as San Francisco, or Portland..
